What is ACRE?

ACRE (Action Committee for Rural Electrification) is a political action committee (PAC) that supports the United State's electric cooperatives on federal and state levels. ACRE acts as the voice for cooperative members when government issues arise. Founded in 1966 by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), ACRE supports state and federal candidates or those running for office who support Electric Cooperatives.
